Malcolm Whittle - Director

Malcolm took over his fathers' accounting practice not long after graduating.  This provided his original grounding in business and tax issues.  He subsequently progressed to financial planning, including a period as a stock broker.

During the decades in financial planning Malcolm continued to retain an interest in accounting practices as subsidiary businesses.  He spent whatever time possible supporting his partners and staff building this arm while the financial planning and personal funds management business continued to prosper. He  wrote for several major publications including The Age, Most of the Murdoch publications including his own columns in the Sunday Herald Sun, The Herald, The Sun, and several magazines over nearly three decades. He also reported the business news for ABC radio for several years before selling his interest in the Financial planning business to his partner.

Over a number of years working with a range of enterprises, Malcolm recognised that one of the glaring weaknesses of many businesses was poor record keeping.  He understood this simple function often accounted for poor management decisions and was a contributing factor to many SME business failures.   He also recognised that is was difficult to coach and guide a business to success where its business records were a train wreck.

He now has set his sights on aligning his business coaching interests with comprehensive bookkeeping services.
